Spoolas MFD8 — Multi-Function Display for BMW 8HP Integration

The Spoolas MFD8 is an OEM-style multi-function drivetrain display engineered specifically for 8HP transmission swaps and advanced CAN BUS integration. Designed to complement factory instrument clusters, it delivers real-time gearbox and drivetrain data in a clean, factory-correct interface.

Unlike universal aftermarket gauges, the MFD8 integrates directly with BMW CAN BUS systems and behaves like an original vehicle instrument. Precise data in a layout that looks and feels factory.

The MFD8 is purpose-built for BMW CAN architectures and supports both original and aftermarket transmission control systems. It communicates directly with your drivetrain CAN BUS and presents the data in a format inspired by original BMW cluster design.

• Range Rover L322 (pre-facelift, BMW engine models only)

Note: L322 compatibility applies to early BMW-powered vehicles before the transition to Ford/Jaguar powertrains.

The MFD8 is intended for vehicles where transmission and drivetrain data is available on the CAN bus. Vehicles with heavily modified CAN networks may require additional integration.

Installation Requirements (Important)

This is a proper integration product — not a plug-in OBD gauge.

• The user must disassemble the instrument cluster to fit the MFD8.

• Soldering skills are required.

• Basic electronics competence is a must (ESD care, clean solder joints, correct reassembly).

If you are not comfortable opening and soldering inside a cluster, have the installation done by someone who is.
